Collision insurance claims, handled start to finish
After an accident, you have enough to deal with. We accept all claims and work with all insurance companies, whether you're filing on your own policy or the other driver's. We write the estimate, photograph the damage, deal with the adjuster and push for OEM parts, and we keep you updated until you pick up the car. Every repair carries a lifetime warranty.

We work for you, not the insurance company.

We accept all claims and work with all insurance companies. You pick the shop, and we deal with the adjuster. If the first estimate misses damage we find once the car is apart, we document it and send a supplement. If your policy allows OEM parts, we push for them. The goal is a car repaired correctly, not just a claim closed quickly.
Florida's Department of Financial Services advises that you have the right to select the repair shop (DFS consumer guide). Check your policy, and ask us if your insurer pushes a specific shop.
What that means in practice: when you open the claim, tell the insurer the car is at Gold Coast Collision Center, 302 S Dixie Hwy E, Pompano Beach. The adjuster inspects it here or works from our photos and estimate.
OEM parts come from the carmaker and fit the way the originals did. Aftermarket and recycled parts can cost less but may not fit, finish or perform the same. Many policies allow non-OEM parts, so we ask for OEM, document why the car needs them and show you what was approved. Whether OEM parts are covered depends on your policy, and we'll tell you before the repair starts.
Every collision, paint and mechanical repair we do comes with a lifetime warranty. If our work fails, bring the car back and we'll make it right. You get the written terms with your estimate.
What each part type means on your estimate.
Made by or for the carmaker
Same part the car was built with: fit, finish and sensor mounts as designed. What we ask for on every repair, everyday car or exotic.
Made by a third party
Cheaper, and some policies specify it. Fit and finish vary. If your policy only covers aftermarket, we tell you the difference before anything is ordered.
Taken from another car
Can be genuine OEM and sometimes the only option on a discontinued model. We inspect every part before we fit it.
From the hit to the handover.

Make sure everyone is safe and document the accident
Take photos, exchange information and get a police report if one is required.
Report the claim to your insurer and name your shop
Tell them you want Gold Coast Collision Center. Your claim number is all we need to start.
Get the car to us
Drive it in, or call us and we will talk you through your options.
We inspect, estimate and work with the adjuster
We take the damaged area apart to find hidden damage, send a supplement for anything missed and ask for OEM parts.
We repair it to the manufacturer's procedures
You get updates as the work moves along. If there's mechanical damage, PorscheWorks handles it in the same building.
Final inspection and pickup
We check fit, finish and function, go over the repair with you and give you the lifetime warranty in writing. On a claim under your own policy you pay your deductible to us and the insurer pays the rest; on a third-party claim against the at-fault driver's insurer you usually don't pay a deductible.
What people ask at the counter.
- Do you work with my insurance company?
- Yes. We accept all claims and work with all insurance companies. Tell your insurer you've chosen Gold Coast Collision Center, and we'll take it from there.
- My insurer recommended a shop. Do I have to use it?
- Florida's Department of Financial Services advises that you have the right to select the repair shop (DFS consumer guide). Check your policy, and ask us if your insurer pushes a specific shop. If you want Gold Coast Collision Center, tell the insurer when you open the claim.
- What is a supplement?
- A revised estimate for damage found after the first one. We take the damaged area apart before writing the estimate, so supplements cover what truly could not be seen.
- Do you use OEM parts?
- We push for them on every repair. Whether your policy pays for OEM parts depends on its terms. We ask for OEM, document why, and tell you what was approved before work starts.
- What warranty do I get?
- A lifetime warranty on all work, collision and mechanical. You get the written terms with your estimate.
- Do I pay you or the insurer?
- On a claim under your own policy (first-party), you pay your deductible to us at pickup. On a third-party claim against the at-fault driver's insurer, you usually don't pay a deductible. The insurer pays us the rest directly, or pays you and you pay us, depending on how the claim was set up. More in First-party vs third-party auto claims in Florida.
- ¿Hablan español?
